SSC CPO

? SSC will select the candidates on the basis of a Computer Based Exam (CBE)
followed by the Physical Exam, Paper-II (English language & Comprehension)

and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

? All these stages of the examination are mandatory.

Dates for submission of online applications:    10th to 30th August 2022

Last date and time for online application submission : 30th August (2300 hours)

Last date and time for online fee payment : 31th August (2300 hours)

OFFLINE FEE PAYMENT:

Last date and time for generation of offline Challan : 30th August 2022 (2300 hours)

Last date for payment through Challan (during Working hours of Bank) : 31st August 2022

 

Date of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of Correction Charges: 

1st September 2022 (2300 hours)

Computer Based Examination: November 2023

  1. NATIONALITY: 

(i)  a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan.
 

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

III. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 30.08.2022):

Must have Bachelor?s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated 10.06.2015 published in the Gazette of India
all the degrees/ diplomas/ certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the
Universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities under
Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and Institutions of National Importance declared under
an Act of Parliament stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under
the Central Government provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants
Commission. Accordingly, unless such degrees are recognized for the relevant period when the candidates
acquired the qualification, they will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.
Candidates who have not yet acquired but will acquire the educational qualification, and produce documentary
evidence from the Board/University in support thereof, as on 30.08.2022 will also be eligible.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

IV. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only:

Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for
Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests. However, the candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License
for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for all other posts in CAPFs.

? The examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical
Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Scheme of Examination:
? Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
? Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II and III of Paper-I.
? For each incorrect response, one-fourth or 0.25 marks will be deducted Paper-I & Paper-II. No
penalty or no marks for an unanswered question.

EXAM PATTERN

a. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET)

For male candidates:
• 100-metre race in 16 seconds
• 1.6 kms race in 6.5 minutes
• Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chance
• High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
• Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3
chance

For female candidates:
• 100-metre race in 18 seconds
• 800-metre race in 4 minutes
• Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
• High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chancese

PST/ PET will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying/ elimination nature

Medical standard (For all posts):

All the candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer Candidates, who are
found to be unfit, will be informed of the position and they can make an appeal before Review Medical Board
within the prescribed time limit of 15 days. Decision of Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be final
