IBPS RRB is a national-level banking examination and is conducted for the recruitment of Officers Grade I, II, and III and Clerk. IBPS RRB 2022 Eligibility 

 

Age Limit

1. For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

• Minimum age: 18 years 
• Maximum age: 30 years 
• The candidates born after 3.06.1992 and before 30.06.2004 are considered for the examination (Both dates are inclusive). 

2. For Officer Scale-II (Manager) 

• Minimum age: 21 years 
• Maximum age: 32 years
• The candidates born after 03.06.1990 and before 31.05.2001 are considered for the examination (Both dates are inclusive).

 

3. For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)

• Minimum age: 21 years 
• Maximum age: 40 years
• The candidates born after 03.06.1982 and before 31.05.2001 are considered for the examination (Both dates are inclusive).

4. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Minimum age: 18 years 
• Maximum age: 28 years
• The candidates born after 02.06.1994 and before 01.06.2004 are considered for the examination (Both dates are inclusive). 

Age Relaxation 

The government allows age relaxation to the candidates as per the categories:

IBPS RRB 2022 Education Qualifications

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Degree in any discipline accepted. 
• Language proficiency in the local language 
• Working knowledge of computers required. 

Officer Scale-I  (PO/Assistant Manager)

• Degree in any discipline necessary.
• Candidates with degrees in Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Marketing, Pisciculture, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering,  Information Technology, Management, Economics, Accountancy, Law, Horticulture, Forestry, and Cooperation will be given preference. 
• Working knowledge of computer skills necessary. 

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer

• 50% marks in any discipline are required.
• Candidates with degrees in Horticulture, Finance, Marketing, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Science, Pisciculture, Banking, Agricultural Marketing, and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given preference. 
• 2 years experience as an officer in any financial institution or bank. 

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (IT)

• Degree in electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology with a minimum percentage of 50%.
• Knowledge and certification in PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, and ASP are given preference. 
• 1 year of experience required. 

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (CA)

• Certified Associate degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
• 1 year of experience in the field required. 

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (LA)

• Law degree with a minimum of 50%
• 2 years experience as an advocate or Law Offer in banks or financial institutions required.

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Treasury Manager)

• Certified Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or an MBA holder in Finance.
• 1 year of experience required. 

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Marketing Officer)

• MBA in marketing.
• 1 year of experience necessary.

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Agriculture Officer)

• Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Dairy, and Animal Husbandry with a minimum of 50% marks. 
• 2 years of experience in the field required. 

Officer Scale-III

• Degree in any discipline with 50% marks obtained. 
• Candidates with degrees in Law, Economics and Accountancy, Horticulture, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Marketing, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Banking, Finance are given preference.
• 5 years experience as an officer in any financial institution or bank.

IBPS RRB 2022 Exam Pattern 

IBPS RRB Exam 2022 exam pattern for the post of Office Assistant differs from the exam pattern of the posts of Officer grade. 

IBPS RRB Clerk Exam 2022 is conducted in two phases:

• Preliminary Exam 
• Mains Exam

The selected candidates have to appear for an interview before the final merit list is prepared with the names of the selected candidates.

• Click for new registration and fill in the basic details to generate a registration number and password.
